An all-Chopin recital to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth. Hailed as ‘the greatest Chinese musician alive today’ Fou Ts’ong returns to the festival after his spellbinding Haydnrecital in 2009. Dubbed ‘The poet of the piano’, Fou Ts’ong is famous for his deeply spiritual interpretations of works by Chopin, Schubert and Mozart. This year he presents a Chopin recital to celebrate the composer’s 200th anniversary.
